Sixty years ago the busy Brown family bought a farm to "get
away from it all". Now the next generation, Sam and Margaret
have built four cottages and welcome you to share this little piece
of paradise.
As
you turn down Browns Road, the busy world of traffic, tight schedules
and telephones is left far behind as you wind your way through the
rainforest of Maiala National Park. Wild life is a feature, and
you are sure to see pademelons (wallabies) as well as other animals.
Over 80 varieties of birds have also been sighted by guests.
Four
luxurious, architect designed and award winning, cottages
have been built hidden away on the side of a picturesque mountain
deep in the rainforest. The exteriors of the cottages are made of
timber slabs, so they match the old farm buildings. However; they
have all been built since 1994, and are sheer comfort inside. This
is a wonderful environment to catch your breath after your wedding
or simply relax in absolute peace. The only sound will be the bird
calls and occasionally rain on the roof.
